Thursday....

I had such a busy day today!

Did cardio and calves this morning.  Calves will be one of my key focus areas for the next show.

For breakfast I had rye and eggs again. sooooo addicted to that! Just love it!!

Lunch was yummy! Steak,  brown rice and green beans.!
I cooked my greenbeans till soft, added teaspoon olive oil, teaspoon whole grain mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. voila!! yummy
Steak, I just sealed in the pan (no oil) and then baked in the oven for 10min! turns out so tender...

I had no snacks today... no hunger pangs. Was a good day! Think that steak filled me up good?



I did bake these.. but did not have any yet.  Its protein chocolate muffins, with peanutbutter...lol. Cute right??


Tonight we dined out, there was no normal salades. So opted for this.. was really good!

Back in the gym!

Wow it was good! Started off with 30mins on the bike.  followed with :
Push-ups
Pull-ups
Chest dips
Back extensions
Leg raises with medicine ball

Sometimes I like to do a couple of random exercises.

I just had a shake this morning, no additions, just protein powder with water, and make breakfast just now after training.  It was yummy!

This is just a slice of rye toast. I added a dollop of cream cheese, since I poached my egg.
AND think you can see by now I have a rocket-leaf-problem! lol... just love these peppery leaves!!!
I seasoned my egg with paprika, salt and pepper.

Its so easy to poach your egg, and you save the olive oil so you can actually have some cottage cheese with it.  Just fill the pan half up with water, add drop of vinegar.  carefully put your eggs in and put lid on! Just watch it, because they do tend to boil over! Your'e water should just bubble, not boil for its life!

I take 2-3 hours between meals! BTW....

Soy prawns and asparagus on brown rice:

Steam asparagus in a pan. Add prawns.
Spice with fresh garlic, salt, pepper, soy sauce and about 2 teaspoons of agave syrop!
Serve with brown rice and voila!

Protein bars and Protein bread recipe

Carrot Cake Protein Bars


1 cup oat flour
2 scoops vanilla whey
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp all spice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
4 eggwhites
3/4 cup stevia
8 Oz carrots
4 Oz water / applesauce

Mix everything very well
Bake 25-30 min at 180deg

CINNAMON SWIRL PROTEIN BREAD


Combine 1/3 cup of stevia and 2 tsp cinnamon in small bowl


In large bowl mix;
1 1/2 cups oatmeal flour
2 scoops vanilla whey
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup stevia


Medium bowl blend:
2 egg whites + 1 whole egg
1 cup almond milk
14 Oz babyfood ( i use apple)


Mix everything good together, except the small bowl.  Alternate layers of the batter with a sprinkle of cinnamon stevia  (small bowl)

Bake at 180deg for 45 - 50 min



CHOCOLATE PROTEIN MUFFINS


You will need:
1 cup oat flour
2 scoops vanilla whey
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp baking cocoa
4 egg whites
1/2 cup Stevia
8 Oz baby-food (berry is good)
4 Oz water

Mix all ingredients very good and bake at 180deg for about 20 mins...  just test them!

Back to "normal" food...

I feel so yuck of the carbo load of the weekend.. puffy, and my eyes are really actually puffy! Tired and bloated!
Started going to back to decent eating habits today.
Will do my new gym program soon, and put it up.

This was what I had for breakast.
a Piece of rye toast with scrambled eggwhites, a slice of ham and rocket.  Love the peppery taste rocket adds to food!








 I made me this shake around 11-ish...Wow this was gooooooooooood.

1 Scoop whey (used chocolate)
cup water
100g Fromage Blanc ( substitute with Bulgarian yogurt)
1 tsp Agave syrop (sub with Honey)
And blend! voila!
Tasted like choc milk...mmmmmmmmmm




This was lunch.

Grilled veg:
chopped onions, peppers,zucchini, mushrooms. sprinkle salt, groundpepper and herbs. grill in over for about 30mins.

Chicken:
Grilled in pan, with drop of olive oil.
added chopped olives and onion, herbs and salt

I just put everything on a bed of rocket, and a tablespoon of seeds over it.
The seedmix I used here is pinenuts,sunflower and pumpkin!
It was quite delicious!

whooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Hey all!!
Wow I am so super super happy still! I got 2nd place, Line-up was 14 girls.  Really enjoyed the French atmosphere and the crowd was amazing!!!

Did not understand a word of course, lol.. just focused om my number (11) and very often hesitated if they actually said it! lol .... But alas... lots of fun!

wont lie, been eating like a pig today, not take outs, but all home made foods. (its better ... if only for the conscience..hihi)

Still deciding how and when training will start again, need to get my new programes planned out now,etc. will be doing that while resting a bit! My body just needs to replenish after that aweful carb depletion!!! aaaaaaaaaarh! that's terrible!

Tomorrow is gameday!

I will be completely honest, I feel like crap today. Adding carb did not really help and still feeling depleted BUT I am so so so excited its worth every undrinken ( is that a word?) drop of water!!!

I keep on smelling the jellybabies I am eating tomorrow evening.! lol My bags are pack, all emergency kits and thingies...

I have my first two layers of tan on. Looking gooooooooooood!!!!

Cant wait to share photos afterwards!

2 days to go Gym&Co Grand Prix

Feeling a whole lot less amped today.  This diet really kind of gets to you after a while...  I am tired, I am hungry, but still super doooooper excited! My house is a  mess, just no energy to clean right now.. mmmm not good right?

So my water intake is dropped to 1.5L for today.  I am now seriously starting to drop water.

is where I am at today, you can see the progress and how much dryer I get daily.  Weight still remains on 53.6kgs though.

Today, The menu includes Tilapia and lots and lots of cucumbers.  I am probably not eating fish again for a while right? Think so too!

Mood is a bit less up today, I think I just don't have energy to be excited right now.  I will be putting back some dry carbs in my diet tomorrow, energy level will lift again, and this will give your muscles a fuller appearance!
