Just bare with me, carb options when trying to stick to Paleo (as an athlete that need carbs ) is not easy!
This veggie is so low in calories! a Mere 45cals per 100g. It is very rich in Vit-B complex. If you can get yourself to eat the seeds, the
seeds are excellent source of
health promoting
amino acid tryptophan. Tryptophan converts to health benefiting GABA
neuro-chemical in the brain. This helps you to sleep.
How ever, this remains a carb, so if you goal is losing the stubborn belly, then space this around workouts.
Meal idea with your butternut!
Pan grilled pork lean cuts. Marinated for a few hours in lemon juice, basil, pepper, cayenne pepper, and Himalayan rock salt.
For the oven roasted butternut.
Chop butternut into cubes. Spray lightly with olive oil. I like to add rosemary, fresh grounded pepper, rock salt, and garlic.
This takes quite a while in the oven.
Mine went near and hour and half at 190 deg.
